In Episode 2 of Ask the Journalist, I sit down with Enrique K. Rupert, a Trinidad and Tobago journalist and sports content creator known online as The Pundit.

Rupert began his journalism career in 2022 at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications and has since contributed to Cronkite News, Trinidad and Tobago Newsday and St Lucia Times.

His broadcast experience includes work with WESN Content Capital and SportsMax, along with football commentary for the Caribbean Football Union and other platforms.

Now building a strong digital presence as @enrique_krupert, he focuses on spotlighting youth talent across Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, giving young athletes the visibility they often lack.

In this conversation, we discuss the state of youth sports coverage, the role of digital media, and how journalists can use their platforms to create impact beyond traditional newsrooms.
