As the world prepares to celebrate Mother’s Day, one San Fernando mother is fighting for more time with her daughters.

Forty-three-year-old Rohini Choutee is battling an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is now appealing for financial assistance to access life-saving treatment abroad.

In Part 1 of this News 19TT exclusive, Rohini opens up about her diagnosis, her fears, and her determination to remain here for the children she loves most.
